About.
Factory Lisbon is an innovation and entrepreneurship campus where tech and education meet the arts. With 12.000 m2 and riverfront views, it is located in the center of revitalized Beato district, home to Lisbon’s creative and artisan community. Two beautiful pasta and typography factories, previously owned by the Portuguese army, have been repurposed by Factory into flexible, sleek and modern commercial office units of various sizes, while maintaining a century-old industrial architecture.
Its multiple social spaces host a myriad of events. From music festivals to the Web Summit. From fashion shootings to press conferences. From art and cultural pop ups to science and education talks. The startups and international tech firms moving in account for 700 people, new to the scene.
With a focus on long term sustainability, Factory Lisbon works hand in hand with the Lisbon city hall and Startup Lisboa to create a positive social, environmental and economic impact on the locals and the city as a whole.

Factory is a global company dedicated to designing, developing and curating innovation communities. With 15 years of placemaking and a portfolio of real estate under management across Europe, Factory works with cities and governments to revitalize districts, lift up neighborhoods and create positive and lasting impact.

Beato Innovation District is a space for open innovation and for the promotion of entrepreneurship and creativity, in the heart of Lisbon's Beato neighborhood, where work, leisure and cultural areas intertwine to unveil new urban dynamics. It is a place for entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, scaleups and large companies - and the entire surrounding community.
Owned by the Municipality of Lisbon it is being managed by Unicorn Factory Lisboa and Startup Lisboa, working as a hub for the attraction and retention of new talents, projects and companies.
Jamestown is a sustainable, design-focused real estate investment and management company, operating internationally. We specialize in transforming spaces into innovation hubs and community centers. At Jamestown, we want to create environments that feel bold and exciting. Our aim is to generate a collaborative dialogue between the surroundings and the people who experience them.
With over 40 years of placemaking experience in the United States, Jamestown has been bringing its philosophy of community driven, unique branded environments to Europe since 2019 and expanded to Lisbon in the summer of 2021.
